Vysora Studio help
How to prepare 3D models for Vysora, build a configurator from them, and publish it to your own website.
Vysora Studio is the dashboard where your configurator gets made. You upload 3D products, define the materials they can be made from, build a configurator over them, and publish it to your own website as an embeddable link. That work usually falls to two different people, so this site runs in two tracks.
Prepare your models
For whoever exports the 3D files. A part is only offered as recolourable if the model was exported with that part on its own material. The size is only right if the export declares its unit. Both of those are settled in your 3D tool before anything is uploaded, and neither can be fixed in Studio without re-exporting or re-processing.
Start at What a Vysora model has to contain.
Build and publish
For whoever runs the catalogue and the website. Upload models, create material folders, tell each model which parts use which folder, arrange the lot into a menu tree, publish. No 3D software involved.
Start at Quickstart: from nothing to an embedded configurator, or read Core concepts first if you would rather have the mental model before the steps.
The three things that trip people up
- Unmapped zones. Leave a part with no material folder and the model still uploads, still publishes, and still looks finished in Studio. The customer just cannot recolour that part. It is the commonest reason a published configurator looks broken. See Mapping zones to folders.
- Nothing is live until you republish. Product edits, new materials, renamed folders, your logo and business details: a configurator already embedded on your site shows none of them until you publish it again. See Publishing and versions.
- Source units. Auto-detect never recognises inches, misreads anything over 8 m, and misreads millimetre models under 800 mm. Declare the unit your model was authored in. See Units and scale.
